Broadcast on MTV as a four-part documentary series, 16 and Recovering is an intimate chronicle of the triumphs and tragedies of students during a full year at Northshore Recovery High School, an innovate public high school whose students are all battling substance abuse and mental health issues. The series was awarded the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award for Television Journalism.
